Most starter sets that I see are 1 AMP and 1 Liter, this set is 5 amps and 1.5 liters, so you'll have a bigger capacity to start with compared to other sets. Plus it comes with advanced freatures such as a magnetic stirrer, anti corrosion titanium hardware and a titanium anode cage, saving you hours of time giving you even better results!

The 5A power supply and other accessories will allow you to eventually go to a larger tank if you want to create even bigger items or start your own small business. In addition this 5AMP power supply works in Constant Current and Constant voltage mode allowing you to expand and do gold plating, silver plating, nickel plating,electro polishing, electro cleaning, electro etching, brush plating, palladium plating, zinc plating , tin plating, small anodizing projects, and electrolytic patinas.

This is a great beginners set it includes pretty much everything needed to start electroforming including a very easy to use power supply.

If you choose the set that includes the copper sulphate, you will only need to supply Sulphuric acid which is readily available in most places and I can help you to source that if needed.

Preparation Of Brightener

Add 50ML heated ( hot but not nearly boiling) distilled water to bottle, replace cap, and shake well until all solids are dissolved.

FOR BEST RESULTS PLEASE DO NOT FILL BOTTLE ONLY ADD 50ML DISTILLED WATER.

Whole batch must be made at same time other wise it will not work properly.

Start by Adding 5 drops per liter to copper sulfate based electroforming solution and then testing. The exact amount needed will be determined by your baths make up. Our customers have reported 5-10 drops per liter were used, start at 5 and work your way up. My baths use between 5-6 drops. Current setting can range from .1A/ in2- .3A/ in2 depending of electroformed project and the composition of your bath. Start low and slowly increase current until bright and shiny surface develops.
Do not mix with other brighteners or leveling agents as they may not be compatible.
