    Mokume-Gane (木目金) -  an ancient Japanese metal working technique used on samurai's swords. Once mastered, this technique can be applied to rings, bracelets, earrings, other art-forms and objects, even guitar picks! You can read more about it here:

    Beginner's silversmithing

    Beginner's silversmithing - you will be creating a sterling silver chunky link bracelet with a personalized charm and a toggle clasp all from basic raw materials - silver sheet and wire. Techniques used: soldering, sawing, polishing, basic jewelry components creation etc.

    Electro Etching

     

    Electro Etching -

    Fun fact: this technique is similar to the one used to etch micro chips in the technology sector.

    A simple and creative way to etch any design on metal without the use of laser or CNC. Participants can draw their own designs or use templates provided. Through the use of electricity, designs are etched onto metal surfaces. From there, the etched metal can be fashioned into useful objects e.g. earrings, pendants, bracelets, cufflinks.
